My Messy Stamp Room

One of my local stamping buddies, Kerry O'Connell, asked me to email her pics of my stamp room . . . sooooooooooo . . . here are some pics of my messy stamp room . . .
This is my "standing" work space . . . after back surgery . . . standing for long periods of time is easier on the back than sitting which is very hard on the tail bone . . .
I try to "lift" supplies up from the work area with wire shelves from Wal Mart and/or Target . . . it gives me more space for creating and/or storage . . . my stamp press is stored underneath my TV . . . my power punch is stored underneath some Sterlite drawers . . . I like storing colored cardstock upright in a bookshelf according to color family . . . it's easiest to see the colors . . . white, is another story . . . I find I need to separate them by type . . . Kromekote . . . textured . . . matt . . . etc. . . specialty papers get sorted separately . . .
Stamps I use a lot are stored on large acrylic frames according to stamp companies since the "style" will match each other . . . I have lots of Sizzix dies and three die cutting machines . . .
I also store some stamps according to category, such as PEOPLE . . . OCCASIONS . . . FLOWERS . . . etc. . .

THANKS for visiting my messy stamp room!!!!

DISCLAIMER: This does NOT include the stuff I have stored in the Master Bedroom . . . the Master Closet . . . the garage . . . the extra frig in the garage . . . and the attic!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Have fun!!!!!!

Hey Michi! I LOVED that you posted pics of your studio =) It is always so fascinating to see the place where the magic happens... When will you be teaching at Member Me again? I would love to take another one of your classes... take care ...xo ~Michelle

OH NO!!! Michi... I was just talking to my husband about you last night and told him that I was so grateful that you and Sharon were teaching at her store because it gets the scrapbookers out of their elements and teaches them new techniques ... I know in the beginning it is hard to get people to sign up... especially in the summer months.. the last class you taught and Sharon taught I was unable to take because of my daughters dance rehearsals and competitions... I look forward to learning more from you... If you ever do any type of boutiques or anything... classes... please let me know. I think you are awesome and enjoyed the class I took from you!

Love your art place, Michi!!!! It looks very well organized to me! You got a TON of stuff, but I and your other "buddies" already knew that. Thanks for sharing with us.

Finally! I don't have to feel guilty! Someone who has AT LEAST as many art supplies as I do and maybe even a bit more! Your space is well organized! I outgrew the containers and other organizers so now I have a HUGE mess! But my dd is moving out in a month or so and I can have her bedroom for more art supply storage! Yippee! Thanks for sharing your studio with us and I love your techs you've been sharing. I also love Traci B. and use lots of color like she does. I have bookmarked your blog!

Michi after seeing this stamp room of yours, you must have most of it if not all. Great organization though, are you sure you couldn't slip one of those bright purple envelopers in there without it being noticed. Or maybe in the extra fridge in the garage. You could just keep shuffeling it from the new station wagon to the fridge and back again. LOL
Your room is so NOT messy.
