Here are samples . . . the first one is the original background for the card . . .
The second one is a second generation one with left over paint making it lighter . . .
The third sample is done on silver cardstock . . .

The fourth sample is done on watercolor paper . . .

These acrylic paints and mediums are so versatile and fun . . . I could play with them all day!!! LOL!!!

Michi, this is gorgeous. I am a real "background Junkie" so I will be giving this a try.

I am not really big on silver, but I think I prefer the silver one in the pictures you posted.

Thanks for the tutorial.

WHERE do you find the time?? Will you please share your secrets with me?? You always have these fantastically great ideas and the magic happens with your patient instruction. You are something else, dear Michi - it's a pleasure to know you, and a treat to be in AT with you. xx

Really nice result. I think I like the silver the best. It could just be my monitor but it is so beautiful.

I love the effect Michi - very much like encaustic wax with which I play. Thanks for excellent photos. Wendy Carr in UK

I'm glad you like this one, Marilyn . . . it's a re-visit on an old technique using Luna Lights Paints . . . I thought these acrylics really looked interesting on metallic colors . . .
