I started a weekly Beading Class with my wonderful art teacher, Sylvia Valle, former instructional editor for Stampington for 11 years, who teaches at the local community center in Rancho Santa Margarita . . . some of her old (oops!!! FORMER students . . . FORMER students . . . not OLD students!!!! YIKES!!!! MY faux pas!!!!! LOL!!!!) students carpool all the way from Manhattan Beach in L.A. to take her classes . . . here are my first two projects . . . they are both bracelets using cube beads . . . but I decided to make the first one a watch . . .

So nice those are beautiful I think my favorite is the bracelet...Michi now not only will you shop for stamps ... you will shop for beads...LOL!
All I can say is uh-oh. You are correct in thinking this can become addictive. Welcome to my world!
Seriously, though -- lovely work Michi.

Love the look of those cube beads.
YOur technique site is nifty too. Congrats on doing some teaching. You are so talented.
Ooo-la-la, Michi! Very nice. I sure hope that your dear dh is working very hard to pay those supply bills. chortle chortle! Kisses, Kathy
Simply amazing!!!! Is there anything you can't do? Both of these are absolutely gorgeous!!!!!
Michi, these are both beautiful!! I also enjoy beading but just don't find the time.
I want to learn beading so badly! How lucky you are to be so close to a great teaching talent! PS..my fav is the bracelet, too!
Be careful, it is addicting! Beading was what I did for years until my eyeballs got old....er formerly young....LOL
Beautiful work you did on your watch and bracelet!!!
Jean
These are very nice Michi!
Michi,
How gorgeous these are!!! I bet you're great in a class and inspirational to all the students and probably the teacher too.
The watch is wonderful Michi but I just love the one for increasing and decreasing rows. Great work girl, have you discovered www.firemountaingems.com yet. I just got their catalogue and WOW!
Beautiful bracelets Michi! And while I am here, I want to say how wonderful it was to 'tour' Italy with you! I loved all the photos and dialogue about them. About the night shots that were a little blurry...I totally loved the one with all the people in it, and the blurry people just gives that busy look to the photo...I can so imagine all the people running around to all the shops. I think the photo is perfect the way it is.
And LOVED the night bridge shot! Gorgeous!
Gorgeous!
That's the neatest watch I've ever seen!
:)
